Michael Blackmond, MBA, MS, CSP, CSPO, CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, is currently the Vice President and head of the Agile Office Boston location for State Street Financial. He has trained thousands of practitioners on agile (Agile Basics, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Agile for Executives) during his tenure at State Street and other previous companies. Mike has spent about 22 years in software development, and the last 14 of those years dedicated to transforming organizations mindset to agile through enterprise and team coaching. Mike has held leadership roles in several companies that span across industries such as government, telecommunications, technology consulting, financial, defense, e-learning, and software. In addition to his strong background in Agile, he has depth knowledge in project management, product development, IT infrastructure, software/content development, quality assurance, and architecture. Mike also holds advanced degrees in Software Engineering and Business Administration; and many agile certifications.
