For the past seventeen years, I have demonstrated experience in project management, business analysis, and servant leadership in a variety of verticals in the public sector. I am an energetic, hands-on leader and not afraid to jump in where I am needed to ensure a project’s success. I am a strong communicator with the versatility and skills to meet and exceed the demands of this position.

I have been an Scrum Master for many challenging projects with different companies. I am a certified ScrumMaster, Product Owner and SAFe Agilist (SA). In addition to my current role as a ScrumMaster of some of key software development accounts such as CH33 - VA, Navy Mobile, USPS and PrivacyNow, I am also in the process of getting my Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

My key responsibilities:

• Ensures that the Agile / Scrum methodology is being implemented and used as intended within software development cycles;
• Work with Product Owner and the team to create backlog; prioritize and assign complexity points to the user stories based on its business value and ROI;
• Worked with Product Owner with story mapping and release planning;
• Monitor the progress of release and its deliverables and work with Software Engineering and Release Manager to gain approval for s/w releases;
• Keep leadership apprised of Sprint and Release progress, and identified risks and issues;
• Oversee the software development in Sprints (of Scrum of Scrums) by facilitating daily stand-ups, Grooming sessions, Sprint Review, Retrospectives and removing impediments/noise;
• Reported team progress by burn-up, burn-down charts, dashboards, velocity reporting and sprint and release progress using JIRA, VersionOne and Rational;
• Organize, facilitate & lead showcase, retrospective, sprint and release planning sessions;
• Coaching and mentoring teams in effective adoption and use of agile principles and practices.
