Tina (Johnson) Gustafson

Mrs. Tina Gustafson serves as an Agile SME and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP). She has over thirty years of experience within the Information Technology (IT) industry, including supervisory and project/program management experience specializing in software analysis and design, system implementation, testing, problem analysis, training/coaching, and process improvement. Tina pro-actively introduced and led Scrum teams within the Department of Defense (DoD) Health Agency (DHA) Natural Language Processing (NLP) development team, Space and Missile Command (SMC), Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), and Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) Intelligence Systems Division (ISD) for Distributed Common Ground Systems-Army (DCGS-A) sustainment Family of Systems (FoS) using the Agile/Scrum framework supporting the U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) of Military Intelligence (MI) IT sustainment and Systems Analyst positions. She planned, directed, coordinated, and evaluated activities of software engineers, data analysts, and software quality, engineers. Mrs. Gustafson has over 11 years of experience as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Professional (CSP) and 15 years of experience creating DCGS-A FoS Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documentation; conducting requirements modeling and simulation; testing at JITC; teaching at Intelligence Center; creating scenarios in White Cell Operations; and finally, managing DCGS-A sustainment and Battle Command Field Support Engineering (FSE) teams. She has completed an MBA in Management, CSM/CSP and ITILv3 certifications, PMP, and CMMI practice education. 1.5 years – Program Management as a sub-contractor to Digiflight for JITC project, National Security Agency (NSA) THIRDEYE. 1.5 years – Configuration Management Lead and Agile Coach, Configuration Management (CM) and analysis supporting the Engineering Development Integration Support (EDIS) contract for SMC Research & Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Support Complex (RSC), Space Force at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB). 6 years - Agile Coach/CSP & Capture/Proposals for BEAT LLC, Engility, SAIC Corporation, SAWTST LLC, and other private sector teams providing Agile Scrum coaching, training, 8 years - CSM/CSP for the DCGS-A Sustainment team and JITC Data Management Tool (JDMT) team, supporting 26 programs under various test types to include Operational Test (OT), Interoperability (IOP), Development Test (DT), and Information Assurance (IA) testing. 16 years - DoD analyzing systems under the JCIDS process, conducting doctrinal research and writing, scenario development, white cell operations, modeling, and simulation (M&S), systems and intelligence analysis, and development of databases and web interface software for front-end applications to databases in support of testing. 7 years - U.S. Army MI Analyst instructor, instructing 4000 civilians and soldiers on MI systems and DoD processes, commended as Master Instructor, Post Instructor of the Quarter, and several Instructor of the Months. 5 years - U.S. Army MI Analyst positions at Battalion through Joint Task Force (JTF).
