About
Isaac Wu has both the business and the engineering mindset. He not only had won numerous significant awards in programming throughout college, but also had product and business expertise. In addition to product marketing, he also demonstrated his entrepreneurship skill. Consequently, he was able to run his own IT company for five years, leading a 10~20 people team to develop a scalable mobile App Store server system. The company became the second largest Java solution provider for mobile devices and was merged by a Japanese firm, Aplix corp., in August 2004.
His MBA dissertation focused on applying both the financial models and machine learning approaches on forecasting investment decisions. Upon graduating from the MBA program in 2006, he has been accumulating many years of project and product management experience, combining his technical background and management skills.
He has always pursuing the most cutting edge technology. Started using Java from beta version in 1995 and adapted to Tensorflow, NoSQL, SMACK, golang, Recently, he also played a role of managing research and development team of his project in Ubitus, Microsoft, and TrendMicro, transforming team culture, overseeing system stability as well as security, and applying Cloud Native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to achieve large scale production system and continuous deployment for the team.
