Santosh Kumar Varada

I am Santosh Kumar Varada, B.Tech CSE and a native of Hyderabad.  I started my career working with a Hyderabad based company, IMI Mobile, primarily into Telecom Value Added Services, for more than 3 years. IMI Mobile rated top in ASIA specific. In this tenure I learnt the technology on VAS along with Java. Meanwhile I married a beautiful lady Swathi, she is also from the same city, completed her Master of Computer Applications and God blessed us with 2 baby boys who are 6 and 1 year.  Later I got an opportunity to be associated with one of the fortune 500 companies called Cognizant Technology Solutions. In my 2 years tenure with CTS, I have been into multiple projects related to Insurance and Telecom domains. Here I gained good experience and exposure to different technologies from Java world and that encouraged me to learn more technologies from the same stream and started growing more confident professional. I learnt few more technologies like spring, Hibernate, Mongo DB and others too in the same organization. Then I moved to another aged company called Sonata where I got a great opportunity to work on Travel domain for Expedia client and also the organization gave me another opportunity to work as a technical Lead. This experience added lot more confidence and helped me grow professionally and prepared myself for more responsible roles and started working as a Scrum Master. Later I got an excellent opportunity to work with ValueLabs Technologies Pvt Ltd. on Insurance domain for one of their long term customers Benefitfocus, here I started working as a Technical Lead and Scrum Master for some time. Soon I was given an opportunity to work as a Scrum Master for 3 teams. This opportunity gave me a lot of confidence on Scrum as a management framework.
