About
I am a Senior Program Manager and Agile Coach in General Motors. I am a certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, Scrum Professional, SAFe Agilist, Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC, ICP-ENT, ICP-CAT), Certfied Agile Leader (CAL 1), co-host of the Agile Clips podcast and a former co-organizer of the Silicon Valley Agile Leadership Network (http://www.meetup.com/Silicon-Valley-Agile-Leadership-Network) and Agile Camp (http://agilecamp.org).
During my career in software, I have been a developer, consultant and held senior positions in engineering and product management organizations. I have always had an agile mindset and formally started using Scrum in 2006. I was an early adopter of Scrum at Cisco, at various times being a Scrum Master or Product Owner. In parallel with product responsibilities, I helped establish Agile software development within my technology group, leading by example, evangelizing and coaching.
After Cisco I joined SDL International as Director of Product Management, where I helped the engineering organization bring SaaS products to market with a significantly faster and more regular monthly cadence.
My passion for Agile led me to make a career change in early 2014, when I became the leader of the Data Technology Scrum Master practice at PayPal, where I had the opportunity to coach teams and contribute to PayPal’s Agile Transformation. I then joined Western Digital in a similar role.
