Sunda Melkild has been working in the IT industry over 20 years while utilizing Agile/Scrum framework. She has worked in all phases of a product development life cycle while performing product owner or scrum master roles in order to have a shippable product on agreed deadline for her customers. She has been delivering and implementing products to diverse set of industries such as Healthcare, Finance IT, Mobile App, and Digital Technology. She gained her Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Computer Science and completed her graduate degree in MBA and MIS. She currently holds CSM, CSPO, CSPSM, CSPPO, SASM,, SAFe POPM, SAFe RTE, and SAFe LPM certifications.

While she was working as an Agile professional, she learned to create a product vision which motivates, inspires, and drives the team; discover features that user hasn’t even imagined; eliminate invaluable feedback items from business owners and stakeholders in order to build valuable features of the product; and build an informal and collaborative team to create products that delights the user.

While she was working as a scrum master, she improved her negotiation skills in order to deliver results at the end of sprints; coached the team to groom and prioritize the sprint backlog that drive business value; provided feedback and clear definition on user stories to ensure they follow best practices; removed impediments for the team by actively communicating with them; and updated product owners the sprint status and articulate any risks or blocks.
