Reid Lowery began his professional career at DataTrak in Mt. View, CA. DataTrak was a startup founded by Dick Jaenicke (cofounder of SpectraPhysics) with primary focus on construction accounting applications which include basic construction planning as well as Electrical Estimating, Plumbing and time and material billing.

Shortly thereafter Reid left DataTrak and formed Phoenix Resources, a consulting firm specializing in networking. His clients have included Symantec, Abbott Labs, Johnson and Johnson(Lifescan division). He subsequently relocated to Redmond in 1993 and expanded Phoenix Resources by adding Autodesk to his client list for an additional 6 months at which time he was brought onboard to Microsoft to assist in managing the Netware compatibility lab. He has spent the last 16 years in various technical and management roles within product divisions as well as customer sales and support and data center operations for Microsoft, Safeco, Costco, Paccar and Walt Disney.

More recently, again with Microsoft, Reid was a PM on the Business Intelligence Information Framework (BIIF) project with PQO, Product Quality Online, focused on early prototypes and integration of disparate data sources. This project has expanded to include customer response systems architecture, design and implementation for the CRM team. His team consists of over 30 individuals focused on multiple aspects of the data, middle tier architecture and innovative UI based on UX research analysis.

This project is focused on building an enterprise class information retrieval infrastructure which has been implemented to meet individual Business Intelligence application requirements, customer advocacy issues and accelerated response management with accountability monitoring.

At the end of 2011, Reid left Microsoft to consult for the Department of Energy and their WISP Synchrophasor initiative. Upon successfull completion, he moved on to assist the Department of Health and Welfare for the State of Idaho in their Obamacare compliance efforts.

Today, he heads up Lowery Research in Plano, TX and manages day to day operations for global Agile engagements.
