Richard K. Drake

I joined the US Navy in Dec 1985 and retired in July of 2006. I spent 17 consecutive years overseas; 15 years in Japan and 2 years in Guam. During my time in the Navy I visited many countries and learned to appreciate people and their cultures from many countries. As my time progressed in the Navy so did my rank and leadership responsibilities. Serving in the Navy taught me the importance of having and being a mentor as well as the benefits of continuous learning and education.  I have an MBA with a specialization in Project Management and the following certifications: Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, Advanced Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional-Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation, Create Deliver and Support, Direct Plan and Improve, and Drive Stakeholder Value.

In my spare time I like to road cycle and play the drums. I did a few 100 mile rides and like to play various music styles with Jazz being my favorite.
