Peter Gibbins, a developer with a passion for all things Agile.

I've only recently investigated Scrum properly after using it for about 4 years previously. The main reason when I enjoy working in a Scrum team is that it put the emphasis back on humans, working together & not a collection of resources to be allocated. 

My development skills are predominantly Microsoft based, C# - I do also enjoy working in the front end with JQuery. I believe that the team is responsible for quality not just QA and as such I’m interested in working with TDD, BDD and integration testing with PhantomJS.

I find the technical side of scrum somewhat easier to translate across than the culture. Understanding that we are all in this together and that the dev team need the autonomy to create great solutions can be a difficult message to deliver. Also, the touchy-feely side of scrum, retrospectives, are another area where the traditional software development mindset may struggle. Myself, I love getting into these issues which can make the difference between a ho-hum dev team and great one.
