As a technologist, I've been programming computers since I was barely 11 years old, and pursued it as a career for nearly 2 decades. During that time I wrote applications, became a committer in the Apache Software Foundation, and worked my way to IT Leadership positions of several large multi-million dollar and multi-year engagements. During that time I became intimately familiar with DevOps, from its inception in XP to our mature practices today.

As a flexible and creative leader, I work with companies to select the right technologies and leadership approaches for them. Working together, we customize new approaches, combining several agile and project management schools of thought to implement solutions to meet their goals. .

Using this approach, I have successfully led 20 full-scale digital transformations for diverse and high-profile clients, such as Morgan Stanley, Elevance Health, and Walmart. We have delivered hybrid solutions combining agility with project management, resulting in revenue increases (large retail over $1B), efficiency (O&M experienced a 60% decrease in lead time), and end-user engagement (Elevance Health net promoter score increased from 17 in 2020 to 32 in 2022)..

I am also an agile certification trainer. Over 90% of my students pass their certification exams on their first attempt, and they have honored me with an average 4.8 out of 5 student satisfaction rating. I enjoy teaching and mentoring others in SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and DevSecOps, and I am always eager to learn new skills and approaches..
