About

Title: Web Developer

On a daily basis, there are more than a handful of things running through my mind once the caffeine kicks in. Is this new technology the latest and greatest or just the flavor of the month? What idioms from different programming languages cross over into my realm? How big is my bug queue? Did we groom our backlog? Are my estimates accurate? Do I even have a comp? Will my solution scale?

I’m in depth with the presentation layer of your web experience. But before ever diving into code, I’d need to first understand your core business.

17 years in web, with the last 15 in front-end web development. I’ve been hands-on with enterprise-level organizations such as Sony Electronics, The Active Network, Bridgepoint Education and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Latest experience includes: startup experience with SleepScore Labs—a joint venture between Dr. Oz, ResMed and private equity firm Pegasus Capital Advisors, where I worked on new web application initiatives which would help people understand and improve their sleep. I also contributed to the UI efforts at MTM, where I worked across several cross-functional teams and worked directly with back-end and full stack engineers. MTM’s mission was to partner with clients in developing innovative solutions for accessing healthcare, increasing independence, and connecting community resources in the most cost-effective manner. At my previous role, I was in the trenches of code as Kinectify’s Principal Front End Engineer, leading the front-end development process across multiple teams that support AML software for the Gaming & Sports Betting industries.

As a self-described multi-hyphenate, I'm also a Podcast Producer, having written and produced shows as seen on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Castbox and more. If you're looking to pair your web project with an additional medium, consider what I can do for your team.

For the moment, I’m on sabbatical in favor of fulfilling caregiver duties of a loved one. I’ll be available in Q2, 2024.
