MARGI PANCHOLI

Margi Pancholi has more than 13.5 years of total experience in software industry working in various capacities of a Business Analyst, Technical Lead and Project Manager. During this tenure, I have worked on Agile projects as a Scrum Team member for more than 5 years and Agile Project Manager for around two years.

My Scrum journey started working for a leading credit card bank in US. As a Scrum Team member, initially I have learned the concepts of Scrum Framework and have been following them by attending all the scrum ceremonies and understanding the benefits of following them to achieve improved delivery performance. As an SME, I have also worked with PO at onshore location to add and refine backlog stories.

I worked for a leading UK bank at offshore as a Scrum Facilitator for offshore team. I have  coached a fresh offshore team with Scrum principles and facilitated scrum ceremonies for offshore location. I facilitated resolving impediments by having discussion with onshore PO. I also participated in review meetings with clients to receive feedback on developed product increment. I also identified the gaps for the team to become self organized and came up with training plan accordingly.During this project, I also got a chance to work upon the challenges required to build a self organized team. This has helped me extended my Scrum knowledge and skills with more than one teams and practice the concepts of forward planning and scaled iterations with larger group of people.

I am also an active participant in the meetups organized by Agile 30 user group in Pune. I also keep learning more agile concepts by attending live webinars by Scrum Alliance.
