Marena Kerr

Marena Kerr is a certified Scrum Master, certified Usability Analyst and a certified PMI ACP and PMP. She has more than 15 years of progressive IT leadership program and senior project management experience including 12 years of experience implementing the Agile/Scrum principles and framework as Product Owner, Scrum Master and as a Senior IT Leader facilitating organizational change for large scale financial, healthcare and public health IT organizations. Some of her main responsibilities have been to set strategic direction and decisions, plan high visibility, high risk products and facilitate teams through the transformation to the principles of Agile and the Scrum framework. As both a Product Owner and Scrum Master she has focused on several horizons by attending to a short term project focus, mid-term product focus and the longer term happiness and culture focus while advancing the maturity of the Scrum team’s practices. She integrates her expertise as a certified Scrum Master, Usability Analyst, Lean, and Agile process knowledge into the development framework to ensure a cost effective quality product. Marena was tapped to shoulder additional responsibility after successfully leading executive-level strategic initiatives in cooperation with outside organizations that developed cost saving technical solutions. She implemented and oversaw the process to integrate the technical web development and user experience teams, health plan systems staff, testing experience team, and stakeholder groups into one collaborative team to create a cooperative and efficient product development processes.
