Jennifer M. Bedore began her Agile journey while working for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. More “Scrum, but…”, however it gave her a good basic introduction to Agile. She then moved to ARUP Laboratories, Inc. where she started practicing Scrum in earnest. She earned her CSM, and worked with several software development teams. Jennifer helped those teams achieve and maintain a high level of productivity and improvement in spite of a great deal of turnover. She expects high performance from her teams, and does whatever she can to provide them with optimal working conditions, and strong leadership. Whether running interference to protect the team from outside distractions, scheduling team lunches, or encouraging best practices, those she works with know she will always, to the best of her ability, support them in their efforts.
Jennifer continues to study and learn about Agile practices. She loves improving and expanding her knowledge and skill, and setting that example for her fellow co-workers. When not at work Jennifer spends time with her family, moonlights as an actress, plays with her enormous dog, is active in her church, and makes sparkly beaded jewelry (It’s a sickness, really!).
