As an avid agilest, Joe's career has paralleled his personal development. Early on Joe realized how transformational this path was going to be for him professionally as well as personally. Through periods as a consultant Joe worked with teams to establish agile practices and transform their processes and understanding of how their contributions influenced the financial goals as well as cultural shifts within their companies.
When working within companies, Joe partnered with evangelists to spearhead agile practices for a number of companies that had expressed interest but had reservations about what they had imagined “agile” to be, a more common reaction than some people might realize. Through a structured approach, patience and lots of open dialog with management and teams; Joe has helped facilitate the transformation of teams which replicated within organizations to make cultural shifts that transformed how companies served their customers and, in the end, saw relationships with their customers change into partnerships.
