John Eisenschmidt is a Managing Member for Lantern Three, a consulting firm that solves problems at the intersection of Business and Information Technology. For more than 15 years, he has coached high performance teams through transformational projects inside of corporations, non-profits, higher education, and the federal government.
As a project manager, John has led numerous large and multi-year initiatives that include onsite and federated teams. He is a PMI certified PMP®, a ScrumAlliance certified ScrumMaster®, and holds the Virginia IT Agency's Commonwealth Project Management Qualification.
As a leadership coach, John believes that leadership is more than just a designation, and that leaders take responsibility for their own development. He works with individuals and teams primarily in the areas of authenticity, dignity, presence, resilience, and somatics. He is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership's Leadership Development Program, and is a Strozzi Institute certified Somatic Coach.
John holds a B.S. in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University's School of Management. He is a member of the Georgetown University faculty, where he teaches Leadership in their Project Management Certificate program.
