Gautham Viswanathan

Gautham Viswanathan is an experienced Agile/Scrum practitioner.

In my current role as Agile Project Manager/Senior Scrum Master, I am leading and directing multiple Scrum teams that are geographically distributed to meet and deliver project objectives. I also facilitate Scrum of Scrums to remove any escalated impediments and resolve any dependencies across Scrum teams. I provide oversight at a program level to other Agile Project Managers and Scrum Masters on industry leading Scrum practices.I have also been actively participating in Scrum Master Community of Practice.

In the past, I have been a Product Owner and Scrum Master. As a Product Owner, I have created and managed a Product Backlog that supported the enterprise roadmap. I was responsible for prioritizing the backlog so the team can remain focused on the most important tasks on hand. I have facilitated Backlog Grooming sessions to groom user stories for the upcoming sprint.

As a Scrum Master, I have facilitated the Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint Review ceremonies. In working closely with the Technical and Functional leads, I have identified, assessed, tracked and mitigated issues, risks and impediments at multiple levels. I have coached and guided the team on Agile/Scrum practices and values.
