George Sammit

George Sammit, CSPO, CSM, PMP is an accomplished leader and engineer with over 20 year of professional experience delivering large-scale, high-quality software projects for commercial solutions.

His specialty is managing and leading Java software development projects for business applications using Scrum. He has significant experience with high-volume and high-reliability systems, relational databases, secure and payment processing applications. He has previous experience with embedded and telephony systems. He has led and coached numeous teams from across the world.

George is a graduate of The University of Michigan where he studied computer science.  He is currently studying project management and software engineering at the graduate level at both The University of Michigan and Southern Methodist University, respectively.

George began working with Scrum in 2012, and has used it almost exclusively since.  He has lead several teams through many Scrum projects.  George holds both the CSPO and CSM credentials, and aspires to obtain his CSP credential.
