Geoffrey Douillard

Geoffrey Douillard, CSM, ACP, PMP, is a senior agilest at Teradata Corporation, San Diego, California where he works as an Agile Coach.  Most recent focus has been to support the cross-organizational transition of leadership and software teams to Agile methods as the organization moves through an Agile transformation. 

Geoff has over 30 years’ experience as a software engineer, analyst and project manager, the last 23 as a Teradata associate.  Geoff has accrued over a decade of knowledge in the Agile methods, using that knowledge to mentor new ScrumMasters and Scrum teams.  He has coordinated Scrum certification training for others at Teradata and has provided Agile insights to the Teradata Process team in order to reduce the process overhead in the organization.  He currently supports the in-progress Agile transformation effort.

Geoff has, in conjunction with the Teradata Training Organization, developed an introductory 1 day class on Agile methods for the Teradata New Hire Academy.  This class, with its focus on Scrum, has been taught by Geoff at least 4 times a year for over 4 years providing Agile insights to over 500 Teradata new hires.   With his Agile coaching associate, he has helped provide more detailed ScrumMaster and Product Owner knowledge to over 700 Teradata associates.  His focus is on the Agile mind-set, communication and collaboration and teaming all leading to the belief that with the correct infrastructure in place, teams can fly.
