A logical thinker and “list person”, Project Management was a natural career choice for me. This is evident by my college majors (Music Performance, Computer Science, and Mathematics) and early career positions (Programmer, Systems Analyst, and Project Leader). I found that some of the best programmers have musical backgrounds as music develops the ability to break things down into its smallest components in order to bring them back together again.

After years of being on the technical path, I earned the PMP credential in 2005 after completing the Project Management Masters Certificate from George Washington University. In 2010, I became a certified Scrum Master and was hired as a Project Manager for a Big 4 client services firm in 2011. This is when my Agile career began in earnest and I started on a path of managing Agile and Scrum projects.
