So, what is that I do?
I am a Certified Scrum Master and I lead multiple teams. I help them to embrace and adopt Agile (mostly Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban), and to continuously improve. I support them in experimentation and experiment myself – with techniques, tools, approaches, and motivation. I remove roadblocks and facilitate their ceremonies. I partner with Product Owners and support them when needed. I promote Agile in the Organization and help to adopt and succeed with Scrum and Agile.
Over the course of my career, I have gained over 17 years of experience from many software development and implementation projects in various roles (e.g. lead BA, senior QA, support engineer, implementation engineer, PM, trainer). I have been successful with Agile (mostly Scrum, but also Kanban, Scrumban) for over 10 years now. In the beginning of my career I was part of multiple Waterfall driven projects, majority of which ended up successfully. I find myself very lucky in many ways and appreciate the Waterfall experience I had because it helped me to “connect the dots”, and understand why Agile works where Waterfall approach fails.
My biggest recent discovery and belief is probably continuous learning and improvement as a lifestyle (whether it’s myself as a Scrum Master, or the team I am helping to succeed).
