Emili Hoffman
About
Emili Hoffman is a Product Manager with experience in email security and loyalty marketing.
Currently as Solutions Architect by title at Kobie, my responsibilities vary from full stack solution design to product management. I managed the content and implementation user stories for the batch processing and the consumer website – completing the end-to-end approach from data and system processing through end-user interaction. I introduced ‘positive arguing’ by promoting team unity while encouraging differing perspectives to drive a decision. Leading by example, I enforced meaningful engagement in meetings by emphasizing goal oriented discussions with action items assigned for follow-up. Ultimately this led to my current assignment as Scrum Master where I am responsible for Scrum adaption for a non-software development team.
In my previous position as a Product Manager, I managed 4 product applications (3 internal, 1 client facing) within an agile environment. With these products, I introduced strict access requirements as a new standard across all the systems. Though I managed multiple remote teams and multiple applications, all systems are part of a single yet complex program as we transitioned from a legacy platform. Two of the internal applications were products I created from the ground up. In separate releases, the two products released within 2 ½ months. After observing internal users’ behavior, I recognized a gap in workflow management and more crucially missing functionality. I drafted my proposals with business needs and benefits, and I received executive approval for resource allocation. Additionally, I worked with stakeholders to recommend and implement process changes that best fit new organization goals.
