I have been in Information Technology for the past 10 years. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 with a bachelor's in Business Information Technology with a concentration in Decision Support Systems. I got my Master's in Business Administration with a focus in Conflict Resolution from Hamline University in 2016. In 2020 I was awarded the Certified Team Coach (CTC) certification. I also have CSM, CSPO, CSP certifications from Scrum Alliance. Additionally, I got certified as Certified LeSS Practitioner (CLP), Pragmatic Marketing IV, The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4), and Professional Scrum Master (PSM1). In my career thus far, I have worked in healthcare, finance, retail, non-profit, communications, agriculture, service, and IT consulting industries. Clients have included UnitedHealth Group, Park Nicollet, National Marrow Donor Program, Cargill, Sirva Moving Services, ADC Telecom, ABN Amro, Bank of America, Hartford Financial, Ameriprise, Target, SuperValu, Digital River, E&Y, PwC, etc. I co-founded and served on the board of an independent agile user group called Agile Twin Cities. I trained, coached, and mentored over 75 professionals in Systems Thinking, Analysis, and Agile frameworks through my independent consulting practice, EB Solutions LLC (founded in 2014). In my experience, I have realized that transformations are not about changing how work is done but instead about how people think - one conversation at a time. To me, agile is practical, logical, and in perfect alignment with the natural order.
