I have been involved in Agile development for over 10 years now, ever since I persuaded the company I worked for at the time as a Team Lead to try Extreme Programming. Since then, I have helped over 40 teams and 10 organisations transition to Agile, initially as their Team Lead or Department Manager, before deciding to switch to being a full-time Agile Coach in 2013. After all these years, I have found that I have a talent for using my background as a software developer and team lead to help explain Agile principles to both technical and non-technical people, focusing on the reasons why Agile produces results, and not just on the mechanics.
