Christopher Simonek

Chris Simonek is an experienced scrummaster and project manager with 20 years of experience in the IT and banking industries.  He has an MBA with a focus in project management as well as a graduate certificate in project management from St Xavier University, he has been PMP certified since 2008, and CSM certified since 2017. He has been working in technology for 20+ years, starting in helpdesk/desktop support positions and transitioning into project management.  Chris spent his first few years working on waterfall/SDLC infrastructure projects for Bank of America.  After a few years, he transitioned to business projects, where he worked as a Treasury Implementation Project Manager.  This is where he was first introduced to Agile, and it was love at first sight.  He joined the Federal Reserve as a Senior Technical Project Manager in 2012, where he managed a variety of projects as a scrummaster or project/program manager. In addition to leading projects, he is also a leader in our PMO, where he has spent the past few years creating project templates that coincide with our Scrum framework.  His favorite part of his job is coaching and mentoring new scrummasters. In his free time, he enjoys running and vacations.
