Cliff Rosa
I work with teams and organizations on driving for prioritized value delivery within the particular demands of their working environment. Whether working as an agile project manager, scrum master, trainer, or coach, I strive to create alignment between organizational business value, employee engagement, and customer delight.
I have had a chance to work with some exceptional colleagues at NimBOLD and Rocket Nine Solutions, and a broad array of clients through those partnerships. With a swath of experience in industries ranging from defense, healthcare, and education to real estate, logistics, and entertainment, I blend my personal drive to get things done with a propensity for empowering others to work effectively.
In my experience as a scrum master, working tirelessly for shared understanding is key. I have found it is essential to dig in with product owners, developers, and stakeholders early and often to ensure a laser focus on the valued outcomes customers are paying for. I enjoy working with teams and individuals, contributing my expertise in facilitation, communication, conflict management, and servant leadership.
In terms of my personal background, in 2013 after a career in public education, I started a video production business specializing in content marketing and online course creation. I continue to serve the public school and small business market as a consultant by designing, setting up and providing training for live video production studios. I have found a wonderful way to add value to my student video production clients using Kanban systems for visualizing work flow.
My early career in public education was comprised of 8 years in the classroom and 6 in technology leadership. I helped introduce mobiles in the classroom, cloud computing, 1-to-1 laptop initiatives, and pioneered student video broadcasting at both elementary schools where I was assigned full-time. Prior to this I taught English to adults both at home in the US and abroad. Through it all I discovered that I am a much better teacher when offering instruction around something I am excited about. This contributes to the enjoyment I get introducing new people to Agile ways of working.
