Bill Wann is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with over 10 years of experience implementing, teaching and developing Agile methods and tools.  Bill has worked with both small companies and large, multi-national corporations to help them transition from traditional project execution models to Agile delivery.

Early in his work with Scrum, Bill spent significant time working with manufacturing companies to implement Lean manufacturing processes.  He saw the relevance to software development and began adapting Lean tools and methods for software development and delivery. Bill noted in early 2005 that, “The parallels between manufacturing and software development begin with the understanding that both are highly creative processes.  Accordingly, successful organizations use a balanced approach between art and science to achieve their goals.”

Bill is currently engaged with a team that is evolving and maturing a Scrum framework for fixed price project delivery leveraging distributed (global) teams.

Bill has over 20 years of project management experience and is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
