Automation :
The purpose of automation module is to ensure daily end-to-end reporting as overnight process. The process designed in such way that it can be triggered/controlled using tools like Control-M, MS Task Scheduler. This includes loading of data in Report Generator- Global Data Model using sqlldr. Using with XML parameterization/csv it controls the execution of process involved in reporting such as

Netting:
The purpose of the netting module is to provide a mechanism to net related balances in a dataset so that they are all having the same Credit/Debit indicator (TYP_DC_INDICATOR). Then accordingly, when they are allocated on the reports, they will all be reported in the same line item.
It hopes to solve the following representative cases:
- Net all FX-spot control accounts & report them either in Asset side if net asset or liabilities if otherwise
- P&L Gain on sale of securities: report them on net basis.
Coverage: (Credit Risk Mitigation)
Coverage process is a process which is used to calculate the covered and uncovered exposure against limits and collateral provided. This is used to provide a critical information of uncovered exposure which could be a risk to any bank, wherein the chances of default are high.
Collateral and guarantees if properly taken in account will help in credit risk management.
- To mitigate credit risk by providing secondary source of repayment in the even that borrower defaults on a credit facility.
- To gain control of the collateral which is the primary source of repayment of a facility if defaulted.
- To apply a lower capital risk weight to credit which are secured by collateral of guarantees.
