Ashish Sharma

Ashish Sharma is an agile practitioner, scrum specialist and an agility advocate. Prior to working with agile delivery methodologies, Ashish found the waterfall practices to be out of touch with reality throughout his professional career in development first followed by project management. Ashish appreciates the scrum practices of accepting and adapting to change and uncertainity rather than ignoring it. 

Ashish is an active member of the agile community at his company where he continually contributes towards alignment with and expansion of agile principles. Through presentation(s) and writing article(s) at available forums, Ashish works towards creating awareness, highlighting benefits of agile delivery to further adoption of agile practices within the technology organization as well as interfacing business areas.

Ashish is passionate about agile principles, scrum values and framework; and loves to share his knowledge with his firm belief that more allies you have on the agile journey of continuous improvement, the easier the journey is. Ashish is a coach at heart ever since he was as an adjunct professor early in his professional career.

Ashish's favorite quote is: "Agile is not about what you become but what you become more of" because it beautifully reflects the incremental improvements one should look to make regardless of the current state.

Ashish's other interests include long hikes in the wilderness and road trips.
