Title: Agile Coach
        Ademar Perez was born and raised in New York City by two hard working immigrants from the Dominican Republic. In high school, he discovered his passion for business and technology after managing the finances for an entrepreneurial venture and exploring the Bloomberg terminal as an intern at Bloomberg L.P. Ademar enjoyed playing Baseball competitively and his dedication to the game enabled him to develop great work ethic at a very young age. 
        In efforts to explore his career interests, Ademar decided to major in Finance and minor in Global Enterprise Technology at Syracuse University. He took advantage of what his university had to offer by completing three technology internships with JPMC, EY and GE respectively; and interning at an executive search company while studying abroad in Hong Kong, China. After graduation, Ademar began his career as an IT project manager in GE’s IT Leadership Program (ITLP).
       Ademar was first introduced to agile as a QA analyst and front end developer on a short term GE project. He quickly fell in love with agile after resonating with its values and seeing Scrum succeed in a scaled, high-pressure environment. After relocating to four different cities for work in two years, Ademar decided to move back to New York City to be closer to family and continue his journey as an Agilist. Ademar is currently an Agile Coach at Xero, designing high performing teams across multiple sub-product portfolio teams. 
      With 10+ years of technology experience at top multinational organizations and start ups, Ademar empowered 35+ teams over the last 5 years, to become self-organizing and high-performing. He is also well-versed in Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, DevOps, Design Thinking, SAFe agile, and product thinking.
      Ademar cares most about individuals, teams, and organizations. He understands work is relationships and relationships take work; so he makes it a priority to get to know individuals on a personal level in order to facilitate effective cross functional collaboration. As a servant leader in its purest form, Ademar understands how to coach teams and influence change "from the back of the room". He is passionate about experimenting with innovative ways to improve the way of work for people at any level of an organization; with a hyper focus on aligning purpose-driven teams to strategic business outcomes, which in turn increases revenue, ROI, product quality, customer/employee retention, and speed to market.
