Ankit Agarwal

Ankit Agarwal has more than 11 years of full time experience working in the IT Industry. His passion for programming began at a very early age that pushed him to graduate with a BS and MS in Computer Engineering. He also has an MS in Engineering Management. While working in technical roles he got introduced to Agile environment at IBM. Having worked in a Waterfall environment before, his interest picqued as to what the Agile Framework and mindset was. He remained in a technical team member role for scrum team at IBM. However after leaving IBM he got a job with John Deere that had a full on Agile mindset. Different teams were doing Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban depending on the nature of the work and what suited best for them to be most productive. This made him passionate about Agile and he decided to get a Certified Scrum Master training and certificarte. He has played the role of not only being a technical team member but also a Scrum Master, and Product Owner as needed by the team(s). He's currently working for SWIFT in the role of a technical team member and guides various teams in transitioning to Scrum. He's very active in the Agile meetups in the Washington DC metro area. His passion for technology and Agile Framework puts him in a perfect position to help companies become Agile. He hopes to become an Agile Coach in the future.
