Bal Mahale

Bal Mahale is a VP of Software Engineering and Agile Scrum Coach at CA Technologies. He is responsible for the overall operation for the Payment Security suite of SaaS products including Agile and DevOps transformation. In the past, he has been involved with several corporate transformation initiatives for CA's global product development organization. His responsibilities included coaching teams in adopting Agile Scrum and coordinating enterprise wide rollout of Agile Scrum. Prior to CA Technologies, he was Director for Product Development at Workscape, where he oversaw the development and deployment of an enterprise software product in a "Software as a Service"(SaaS) environment. Earlier in his career Bal played various roles in strategy, sales, project management, architecture and software development in the internet and software consulting environements at Razorfish and Cambridge Technology Partners.

Bal is an inspirational and business savvy leader who is humble, promotes creativity, risk taking and teamwork but is results oriented. His broad hands on experience in various roles and industries as well as his MBA in managing technology intensive enterprise and innovation helps him in coaching senior executives as well as teams in adopting Agile Scrum.
