John Cumming

I am an agile coach working in the government and defence sector with BAE Systems.

I help our teams, leadership and our customers discover what it means to deliver value amidst uncertainty and complexity. I encourage a strong focus on customer outcomes as a primary measure of success. 

I have a particular focus on enabling innovation through cultural change, embracing uncertainty and balancing conflicting organisational needs.

I particularly enjoy seeing the moments when the teams I work with ‘get it’ and respond in unexpected ways to their challenges. It is a constant reminder of the resourcefulness of people, the power of teams and it catalyses my own development, drive and learning.

Coaching continues to be a journey of discovery for me. I am actively coaching, learning as I go and hoping that I can help the teams and individuals I work with find success.

I am hungry to learn about different fields that can contribute to the development of highly successful and rewarding companies and teams and incorporate that into leading and coaching wherever I can.
