Graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, NJ) in 1985 with a BS in Computer Science
Work:
I worked for 5 years at Stevens Institute of Technology as a systems programmer in their Computer Center
Worked since 1991 with Siemens Medical Solutions
Started as a developer/environment support with the MRI Research & Development group
Greatest accomplishment was working with a prototype MRI system using Echo Planer Imaging techniques, that resulted in first ever image of stroke damage within the first 24 hours of the event. This was at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston Mass.
Went on to work as a project lead with the syngo architecture being used by all the Siemens medical imaging systems (MR, CT, AX, US, PET, ...)
Went on to be a release test manager responsible for testing components of the Hospital Information Systems supplied by Siemens
In 2007, I became a Scrum Master within the Hospital Information Systems development team, and have been working in this role ever since.
In 2014, Cerner Medical bought the Siemens Hospital Inforamation Systems group, however I've remained in the Scrum Master role with Cerner.
So far I've been responsible for ~15 separate teams, most related to medical order processing. I love it.
Personal:
I'm married, have 2 wonderful children, and enjoy science fiction & fantasy (movies & books), strategy game playing, and NFL Football (Go Giants ! ! !).
