Our Live-Online CERTIFIED SCRUM MASTER Classes are taught by our very own recovering Project Manager, Dave Prior, and he’s not so different from you. Dave came from a traditional project management background and was dragged into the agile world, kicking and screaming. But even though his transition to Scrum was painful, that doesn’t mean yours has to be. In fact, Dave has spent the last 20 years teaching people like you all about Scrum and helping them make a smooth transition from traditional project management to a more modern, agile way of working.

• Class begins at 10 AM and will run until 6 PM both days

• Participants will be expected to connect to the class via Zoom with video, which must be active throughout the class

• Participants are required to be fully engaged in all class activities to qualify for Certified Scrum Master certification. Students who miss more than 1 hour of class time will not be eligible for the certification exam

• Participants who complete this course qualify for 16 PMI PDUs

• Registration includes exam fee and 2-year certification with Scrum Alliance

USE SCRUM TO LEARN SCRUM:

This CSM training is divided up into four Sprints to allow participants to fully immerse themselves in the Scrum framework. At the completion of each Sprint, the class will inspect and plan to adapt during the Sprint Retrospective. Throughout the entire course, as the Scrum Framework is presented, the instructor will be addressing each topic with practical advice that stems from real-world experience working with Scrum Teams.

The ScrumMaster course is an excellent fit for anyone new to Scrum or who has been practicing it in the field and needs to reacquaint themselves with the Scrum framework. If you come from a traditional (waterfall) background, are skeptical about it, or are struggling with getting your head around Agile, this class is for you. With Dave’s experience transitioning from traditional project management to Agile, he takes special care to try and pave an easier way for the participants struggling to adopt Agile.
