Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a framework for scaling agile development to multiple teams. LeSS builds on top of the Scrum principles such as empiricism, cross-functional self-managing teams and provides a framework for applying that at scale. It provides simple structural rules and guidelines on how to adopt Scrum in large product development.

The Online Certified LeSS Basics course is a brief introduction into the LeSS Framework. It provides an overview of the framework and some of the essential concepts that it uses. It will help determining whether LeSS is for you. For LeSS adoptions, we’d recommend to follow it up with a Certified LeSS Practitioner course.

The Certified LeSS Basics course is for anyone who is involved in a LeSS effort or is curious about the framework.

What is the schedule for the training?

The Certified LeSS Basics training is split into 4 modules, each 90 minutes long, which will be taught across 4 days (1 module per day). We have morning (9:30-11:00 BST - UK) and afternoon (13:00-14:30 BST - UK) sessions available for this course. Please see below for the modules and dates these will be covered on.

Module 1: LeSS Introduction - 14th April 2020
Module 2: Product Ownership & Teams - 15th April 2020
Module 3: LeSS Huge & Systems - 17th April 2020
Module 4: Adoption and You - 20th April 2020

 

Are there any prerequisites before attending the course?

Basic Scrum knowledge is expected and can be achieved by attending a Certified Scrum Master course or extensive reading. A reliable internet connection is essential.

 

What’s the cancellation policy?

Cancellation is possible up to two weeks before the start of a course without cost. After that point the full course fee is due independent of whether the registered person takes part in the course or not. Participants can be substituted without charge.
