About the Course

The Product Owner role is critical to maximising Return on Investment from agile projects and is one of the most challenging and rewarding agile roles. Many Product Owners come from business areas of the organisation and have limited familiarity with elements of software development, project management and agile methods that are critical to success in the Product Owner role. For these reasons, it is vitally important that Product Owners gain a solid understanding of their role and responsibilities as well as the knowledge, skills and tools to work effectively with Scrum teams.

Inclusions

  • Two full days training with a highly experienced agile practitioner and trainer
  • Printed handouts and worksheets
  • Full catering during the course including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner for participants who successfully meet expectations during the course
  • 2 years membership with the Scrum Alliance
  • A letter of course completion that may be submitted to your employer and/or a professional body (PMI/ACS) for PDUs (available upon request)

Audience

This course is most suitable for Product Owners and staff assisting with requirements and their priority (e.g. Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts), solution architecture (e.g. Solution Architects and Tech Leads), planning and coaching (e.g. ScrumMasters and Agile Coaches).
