Rally Software, Transformation Consultant
June 2013 - Present, New York, New York, US
As an agile transformation consultant, I work with organizations (large and small) who are adopting an agile approach to product development. The activities entail assessing the organization, building an adoption plan, and helping the organization execute the adoption plan. This execution includes coaching and training in Scrum, SAFe, as well as building an Agile Center of Excellence so that the organization can become self-sufficient in their adoption.
In this role, I focus on training and coaching and does not include playing the role of ScrumMaster, Product Owner, or SAFe scaled versions of those roles.
Rally Software, Agile Coach
March 2012 - June 2013, New York, New York, US
As an agile coach at Rally Software, I coached team in their roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Team Member) and group processes (Scrum, SAFe).
As a coach, I did not play the roles directly. Rather, I coached others in their roles.
CSC, Agile Advocate / Trainer
June 2010 - March 2012, New York, New York, US
CSC is a systems integrator. As an agile advocate and trainer within CSC's methodology organization, I built CSC's agile methodology and trained people across the global organization on the agile approach.
During this time, I coached a number of clients on the application of Scrum.
As a consultant to CSC clients, I recognized the need for agile as an option in CSC methodology catalog and was provided a research grant to create it. After the grant, I continued with the methodology group to enable the approach with client facing teams.
