Alex Godelman

Alex Godelman is Managing Director at PennyMac. With a nearly-embarrassing number of years of Silicon Valley, Silicon Alley and Silicon Beach experience in Agile product development and software engineering, Alex is recognized as evangelist in web and mobile SaaS, eCommerce and Online Media communities.

Alex first broke into the world of Internet technology over a decade and a half ago when he joined, as Executive Director of Technology, Time Warner Music’s B3 Corp division - at the time, an industry-leading e-solutions business provider of an end-to-end commerce platform. Before coming to PennyMac, Alex served as CTO and Head of Product of Zed Connect, Engineer.AI, Cast & Crew, Sony New Media Solutions / rGENERATOR, as well as CTO of Evolve Media. Prior to that, he was a part of the executive management teams at Shopzilla and Electronic Arts's division Maxis .

Alex is very active in technology and Agile product development communities and serves on the board of directors and advisors of several internet and technology companies. He has been awarded the 2010 CTO Rock Star Award from SoCal chapter of TechExecs. Alex is certified in Lean and Scrum (Certified Scrum Master, Professional and Product Owner) and holds a graduate degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
