    Your registration gives you full access to all keynotes, sessions, and special events. AM & PM breaks and Lunch are included [Monday - Wednesday] plus any evening events. Breakfast is included in the room rate for those staying at the host hotel when booking through our reservation link. The gathering is not providing breakfast for those who book through any other means.

    Regretfully, we cannot offer 1-day passes or allow sharing of passes.

    Transportation

    Train:
    The train station is accessible by foot from Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.

    Airport to city
    To get to the city, transfer to the westbound train at Tanah Merah station. The last train that connects to the last westbound train at Tanah Merah station leaves Changi Airport station at 11.18pm. All the trains and gantries at the stations are luggage-friendly. 

    City to airport
    To get to Changi, transfer to the eastbound train at Tanah Merah station. The first train arrives at Changi Airport station at 5.26am from Monday to Saturday, and at 5.54am on Sundays and public holidays. 

    A single ride ticket can be purchased at train stations. A stored-value EZ-Link card for multiple rides can also be purchased from train stations or any Changi Recommends store.

    Taxi:

    Leaving Changi Airport

    Taxis are available at the taxi stands at the Arrival levels of each Terminal. A ride to the city takes about 30 minutes and costs between $20 and $40. Fares are metered and there is an additional airport surcharge for all trips originating from the airport:

    $5 Airport surcharge: 5pm - midnight (Fri - Sun)
    $3 Airport surcharge: All other times
    Midnight surcharge of 50% of final metered fare: midnight - 6am
    Peak hours surcharge of 25% of final metered fare: 6am - 9.30am (Mon - Fri) and 6pm - midnight (Mon - Sun)

    Meet Your #SGSIN Co-Chairs

    Rohit Arora

    Rohit Arora is highly experienced an Agile-Lean Coach and a Trainer with a background in Software Development. He has guided many large organisations through Agile transformations by engaging at the team and leadership levels. He conducts hands-on training and coaching on adopting Agile/Scrum or Lean/Kanban process frameworks, with XP practices and DevOps core tenets related to people, process, and tools. Rohit is active volunteer in the Agile and Scrum communities at international conferences like Scrum Gatherings, Agile Singapore, etc... He is the co-founder for Agile Tour Singapore conference and organizer for ATSG15. In 2016, he co-hosted the first-ever Scrum Coaching Retreat in Singapore. Other contributions include Session reviewing for various Agile Conferences like Global Scrum Gathering® Bengaluru 2016. He is a big supporter of Agile community in Singapore and is the co-organizer and co-facilitator for following community meetups.

    Sharan Mangalore

    Sharan Mangalore has more than 13 years of IT project/product development and process improvement knowledge in technology related projects. He has worked in the telecommunications R&D, financial services, defense and Healthcare industries for numerous companies including Motorola, Agilent Technologies, Thales Security and Allscripts Healthcare IT. Sharan has utilized Agile principles to drive culture change and improve business and technology processes that have resulted in significant improvements in cost, customer delivery and satisfaction, quality and employee morale. Sharan has worked as developer, ScrumMaster, Product Owner, and Agile community coach. Sharan is currently working in NUS-ISS as Agile Program-Practice lead where he is involved in teaching, coaching and consulting to Masters in Technology students and working professionals. Sharan is an organizing member of Singapore Agile community where he organizes events, seminars, and conferences.

    Global Scrum Gathering Singapore 2017 welcomes Daniel Mezick as Open Space facilitator. Daniel is an executive and team coach, author, and speaker. Learn more about Daniel’s background and journey!

    Daniel Mezick

    Coaching executives and teams since 2006, Daniel Mezick is an expert on extending adaptive Agile culture beyond software. His books and workshops teach you how. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Daniel’s list of clients include Capital One, INTUIT, CIGNA, SIEMENS Healthcare, Pitney Bowes, Harvard University, and dozens of smaller enterprises. His first pioneering work on culture was published in 2012. THE CULTURE GAME described 16 specific patterns that extend Agile ideas across the organization, beyond software. THE CULTURE GAME describes a very clear, step-by-step program for doing exactly that. In 2014 he built upon THE CULTURE GAME patterns and formulated the OpenSpace Agility method. OpenSpace Agility is a flexible template for enabling lasting change in your organization. Daniel is the primary author of the OPEN SPACE AGILITY HANDBOOK  with co-authors Louise Kold-Taylor, Deb Pontes, Mark Sheffield and Harold Shinsato. Daniel’s enterprise consulting practice is built upon the core concepts found inside these books. Daniel conducts workshops based on these books, and also offers enterprise Agile coaching, Agile training programs for teams, and management consulting.
