This course builds on the CSD course adding more advanced use of Scrum plus Agile/XP engineering practices commonly used by Scrum/agile teams. We'll use a pragmatic approach inviting a discussion of trade-offs.

Kelley has been using Agile & Scrum since at least 2002. He will help you learn the surprising power & simplicity of Scrum, and get you certified in the process. With a deep background in software development, Kelley provides the added perspective of the full life cycle, utilizing Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles, all the way through Agile/XP engineering practices, deployment, and maintenance. Optional 3rd day to incorporate the ideas and practice coding. Let the instructor know you're interested in the 3rd day.

Developers of products & services and anyone working with or supporting developers. The key skill we're exercising is solving problems as a collaborative team.  There will be some software coding exercises and examples.  It's not critical that you know coding to participate or observe.  Most people jump in and surprise themselves that it's fun.
