What is CSP-SM?
Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master (CSP-SM) is one of the top most certificates in the IT industry. It’s a certificate program awarded to Scrum Masters with atleast two years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Who is a ScrumMaster?
A ScrumMaster is a development facilitator who is responsible for enabling Scrum teams to maximize their effectiveness by addressing systemic issues and dysfunctions in the team. The ScrumMaster has four primary focus areas: System Design, Development Practices, coaching Product Owner and coaching Development Team. This workshop is a role-specific workshop to learn about the role of ScrumMaster.
Who is a Certified Scrum Professional?
A Scrum Professional is a seasoned Scrum Master with at least two years in the trenches working as a Scrum Master. They are the ones who would have helped teams succeed as a team-building customer loving products using Scrum. They may have expanded their skills beyond basic Scrum to Systems Thinking, Lean, Coaching, Advanced facilitation etc.

How are the workshops run?
The workshop us run using Scrum with a digital board as shown below(from a recent CSPO workshop). We use Zoom as video conferencing tools and teams will usebr eakout rooms for team excercises. The workshop would consist of real life cases and experience sharing from the instructor.
About the trainer:
Apeksha Patel is the first woman CST in India and is the first Accredited Kanban Trainer. She is a practicing Coach and works as part of a Scrum team. She practices a wide variety of coaching frameworks like ORSC, NLP and Leadership Gift. She has been in the industry for over 17 years in both service and product companies as a DevOps expert. You will get a flavor of both the coaching and development world.

- When do we start and end each day?
The classroom will be on Zoom. The zoom link opens at 1:40 PM each day and the class will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We will end at 7:00 PM each day. (Time Zone: IST)
- Do I need to make notes?
All the content discussed during the course will be made available after the workshop.
- How much internet data is required to take online course?
For the whole course, you might need about 6-8 GB data.
- How are activities done onlie?
The activities are done online using a digital workspace.
- Do you offer a guarantee?
We offer 100% happiness guarantee not the certification guarantee, which depends on you. If you are not happy with the workshop or if you are not able to clear the CSM test, we offer 100% refund unconditionally.
- What is your refund policy?
You get 80% refund if you cancel 4 days prior to the workshop.
You get 70% refund if you cancel 48 hours prior to the workshop.
You will not get any refund if you neither inform or turn up for the workshop.
If the GST amount is already deducted then it won't be refunded as well.

Pre-course Preparation
We want you to make most of the time you spend with our trainers and other participants. Learning maximizes with the perspective of others. So we expect you to go through online articles and videos to prepare for the workshop. The online material includes:

- Take an assessment validate your learning from CSM and A-CSM
- Submit writeup on your experience as a Scrum Master

The workshop is designed to help participants gain experience as Scrum Master. The topics covered in the workshop are based on the focus areas of the ScrumMaster. What is the eligibility criteria for CSP-SM Certification?

Participants should hold an active Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) certification with Scrum Alliance

Participants should have at least 24 months of work experience specific to the role of Scrum Master (within the past five years)
What is the validity of CSP-SM Certificate?
CSP-SM certification is valid for 2 years from the date of attaining the certificate. Scrum Alliance will send you a reminder once the validity of your certificate is about to expire. You need to renew your certification by paying fees and 30 SEUs. SEUs are Scrum Education Units and 1 hour of learning is equal to 1 SEU.
