Meet your Coach and Trainer, Evelyn Tian:

As a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Evelyn uses accelerated learning techniques like Training From The Back Of The Room to teach the course content in brain-friendly ways that help you maximize the learning experience and information retention.
As a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) with close to thirty years of product development experience, and solid hands-on experience, Evelyn brings in years of coaching experience to the class, which helps the session to be more beneficial and practical.
Her training is well known as "fantastic learning and great fun!"
Since 2009, Evelyn has been working as a full-time coach, helping different organizations to transform. What makes her workshop different is that she works on coaching organizations in the trenches, and takes hands-on learning and experience into training workshops. She has track records in coaching organizations and teams with agile and Scrum transformation, and she is an internationally known conference speaker and trainer on Scrum, leadership, and coaching.
In the past decade, she has provided training and coaching support to companies in the sectors of finance, insurance, telecom, automotive, marketing, etc.
Additionally, she is an advisory board member of IEEE Software, where she mainly focuses on agile, Scrum, scaling and DevOps.

The Certified Facilitator (CF) program is to grow participants’ mindset, knowledge and ability in the area of professional facilitation. Effectively facilitating a group or team toward co-created, meaningful and committed outcomes is a core agile coaching competency as well asa a skill necessary for effective leadership.
The CF program supports the growth of participants and helps with challenges from real working environments. While participants advances their facilitation skills, participants also support their teams and organizations to advance.
At the end of the program, you will be able to:
- Recognize when the stance is appropriate.
- Contract with stakeholders for group facilitation.
- Assess environmental contexts and group norms for facilitation
- Foster psychological safety in a session and repair safety when broken.
- Hold the group's agenda during a session.
- Demonstrate ethical and effective facilitation.
- Establish your facilitation presence before, during, and after a session.
- Explain and practice how a facilitator facilitates from the front, side, back, and inside.
- Integrate skills such as powerful questions, listening actively and feedback to your facilitation.
- Utilize emotional intelligence as a facilitator and for facilitation
- Develop and apply strategies to work with conflict.
- Integrate the practice of reflection as a facilitator and facilitated events.
- Design and evaluate a facilitated session for team forming, conflict, psychological safety, designing agreements and any other context of your choice.
- Prepare, practice and enhance based on collaborative learning a list of comms event

Prerequisite
This workshop doesn’t have any mandatory prerequisite as everybody can be a great facilitator. So your curiosity, passion and interests in facilitation is the key.
