In this role I am responsible for the delivery at solution level of support, field associated development and solution strategy of a major product/program. The software product I am responsible for is an industry leading, self service application deployed globally. I work closely with customers to understand their requirements and business needs and prioritise program schedules in order to flexibly meet the changing customer’s needs in a timely fashion. In this role I am managing multiple teams across multiple locations with various project commitments. I also achieved Certified Scrum Master as part of the transition from a waterfall development methodology to an Agile development methodology and have gained some experience in Agile product development and Waterfall to Agile Transformation.

In this role I was responsible for the Technical and Project management of two project teams delivering individual components directly to the field or as part of a wider product through the engineering organisation. Project sizes varied from 3 weeks (one component) to 1 year (multiple components delivered into a wider project).The product which these projects fed into is a global industry leading product in a self service environment. The key skills that I bought to this role were my ability to communicate and build up a rapport with multiple global customers to understand and fulfil multiple and varied requirements in a consistent and organised method. As part of this role I achieved Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in CI.

January 1998 – September 2005 (7 years 9 months)
In these roles I was part of or leading teams of 2-4 people working on a multitude of projects related to application developments in a C/C++ environment on Windows XP. The focus was on the development of self service applications for use in an ATM (Auto Teller Machine) environment. The key skills I bought to this role was the ability to communicate and think cross functionally at hardware, driver, platform and application levels.
