Biography

With unique mixture of vision, cleverness, integrity and technically savvy, I have more than 10 years of international project and program management experience, managing both cross-functional and cross-business unit sub-projects, covering all the aspects of the application life-cycle management (ALM / SDLC) and business transition & transformation projects, to achieve the agreed business objectives in Waterfall and Agile Scrum/Kanban environments. I am also using Design Thinking methodology in combination with Agile Scrum / Kanban for innovation projects.

Working in both internal and consulting roles, I have been involved in international key roles in IT and business strategy programmes, including re-engineering of the Order-to-Cash processes, as well as in delivering integrated systems for medium and large enterprises. I do have an excellent understanding of the importance of the company’s strategy and culture into the execution of the projects and programmes.

Since 2001, I have constantly worked in cross-functional global teams, helping drive projects and initiatives towards successful execution, with client focused attitude and strong background in defining project management processes and service operation procedures in close alignment with the standard frameworks such as PMI, ISO9001, ITIL.

Author of several papers and innovations, between 2007 and 2009 I was lecturer for IT and telecom courses at two technical universities as well as trainer for the certification programmes of the project managers with focus on Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

I am a graduate of Stanford University’s Advanced Project Management programme earning the credential of Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) and I hold a PhD degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from ‘Transilvania’ University. I am a holder of PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) received in 2009, PMI’s Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) since 2013 and Scrum Alliance’s Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Practitioner (CSP) received in 2008 and 2009.
