Tom Crump brings more than 30 years of application engineering, systems integration, and consulting management experience to APL. Tom began his career with IBM Federal Systems Division as a programmer and later as a program manager for complex systems integration projects. He was also a product manager for Engineering Graphics Products with IBM's Industrial Sector Division. Mr. Crump has managed custom application development projects for Integrated Systems Solutions Corporation (ISSC), where he was responsible for the successful implementation of publishing solutions at large automotive and aircraft manufacturers. He then moved to a senior manager position in the data warehousing practice for KPMG Consulting, where he oversaw a multi-million dollar data warehouse implementation for a Fortune 500 disk drive manufacturer. Following this implementation, he helped found SageTree, Inc., a startup supply chain analytics company that was acquired by Teradata in 2001. Since the acquisition of SageTree by Teradata in 2002, he has held a variety of engineering management positions, and has performed as the engineering lead on the acquisition of three other software companies. A certified project manager, Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
