Grant Swertfeger is an experience designer and user interface developer with roots in photojournalism and multimedia. He spent four years designing and building interactive infographics for MSNBC.com covering events such as Hurricane Katrina, the Virginia Tech massacre and the 2008 Presidential Election. In 2009 Grant joined the National Geographic Society where his team was responsible for creating and maintaining all NGS websites and content management systems. Grant owns and runs Swordsweeper Industries, a consultancy working with startups to help them develop products as well as coaching Scrum teams. Grant has been a CSM since February 2012 and has run Scrum teams at both National Geographic and RANDA Solutions.
