My professional coaching and training abilities gives me the perspective needed to guide teams and agile leaders to harness agile as the competitive advantage weapon it was meant to be.
I know the transformation path is rocky, and as an Agile Mentor and training and development head I have trained 300 + employees in various Agile sessions within Infogain in last 3 years and conducted good number of sessions in Tech Mahindra to help employees adopt agile and make it easy for them to implement and improve scrum in their projects.
I have been dealing with Agile since 2008 and in addition to speaking for Agile/Scrum, technology sessions Concepts, I also play an important role of a mentor for all the employees in the capacity of head Competency Development Framework. I hold a MCA degree from Maharashtra.
I have worked and gathered experience in companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra and currently Infogain.
Working closely with Agile Experts in delivery as Relationship Manager for the BU’s helped me to understand the issues teams generally encounter while implementing agile for the first time .I also noticed that sometimes the issues are related to behavioural traits which needs to be addressed.
I keep attending various agile seminars and conferences to keep in touch with the new updates.
In the capacity of training and development head I have implemented agile for my own department by first working as Scrum Master for the very first training and development portal which was launched in TechMahindra. I was responsible for two distributed teams one at Noida and the other at Bangalore. This project gave live exposure on the working of agile and the issues which comes in initial three to four sprints. I have also implemented Agile in HR ensuring the pace of our activities matches with the delivery expectation.
We do stand-up every day in the morning to understand where we are w.r.t training requirements for the month. The issues if in case team is encountering. How we need to handle any new training requirement or initiative. Retrospection at the end of the month to understand low feedback in training or the training which we are not able to deliver even though we committed earlier to the requestor. It has helped me to such a great level that today 95% of the trainings are handled internally.
I am completely passionate about agile and Scrum and help new teams to adopt scrum and help them understand the current gaps and steps required to fulfil the same.
I believe that Agile is more than an alternate project management methodology and I am passionate about deepening the roles in Agile - specifically Agile Coach and to help Agile move into its fullest expression.
At Infogain, I am guiding teams to deliver quality customer value as fast as possible and building Agile capability through apprenticing coaches and educating at all levels within the organization. I am passionate for Agile and Scrum. I truly believe Agile can change the way we work achieving excellence levels of precision and performance.
