CCV, Scrum Coach
March 2011 - May 2011, Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands
Helping the It department to change to Scrum. They already had a first encounter with Scrum, but that left just a bad taste behind. After some talk they decided to give it a second change, with me as Scrum Coach. We talked alot about how we could make Scrum work within their organization. We decided to start with one project and later to expand Scrum to other projects. After the training I gave, an introduction to Scrum, we took of. With coaching the scrum master, who was partial developer in the team and coaching the product owner it worked well. They also had a project manager wich wanted to be directly involved. We decided to give some scrum master tasks to the project manager. For example communication to the outside and beware that team can do their work without outside involvement from chickens. I was availale at the meetings and afterwards I gave advise to the attendees who needed that. Know they are working on several projects with Scrum and still going strong.
OCOM, Scrum Coach
October 2010 - January 2011, Haarlem, Noord Holland, Netherlands
Helping to implement Scrum in this company. I started with a presentation for the management an CEO's, to let them know how Scrum works and what the impact is on their organization, people and process. I did this to get commitment from the management for Scrum. After that i trained the people that where going to work with Scrum. Now we are at the end of the second sprint and all is going well. They maked some errors in planning, but its a good start. As tooling they use Jira from atlassian.
